Institute for Social, Cultural and Policy Research

The Institute for Social, Cultural & Policy Research (ISCPR) seeks to build, sustain and enhance research into social, cultural and policy questions of major real world significance. A significant element of the work is interdisciplinary, with collaboration in the areas of Communication, Cultural & Media Studies (CCM) and Social Work & Social Policy (SWSP).

ISCPR has a thriving postgraduate community, and we offer numerous funding opportunities, including Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) 1+3 PhD studentships and 'CASE' studentships.
